YOUR QUESTIONS

Useful next steps.
Packages, booking, payments and the way we care for your celebration.
How do we choose the right package?
Day-of Coordination is for couples with their venue, vendors and overall plans in place who want us to take over a few weeks before the wedding. Partial Planning provides up to six weeks of help completing remaining decisions. Full Planning supports you from the early planning stages through the celebration. Hourly Consultation offers focused advice on individual questions.
How many planners attend our wedding?
Two planners are always included on the wedding day in every wedding package. We never deliver a wedding package with just one planner. Any staffing beyond those two planners is discussed in your proposal.
What does Day-of Coordination include?
We take over a few weeks before the wedding, review your plans, handle loose ends and final vendor confirmations, prepare the timeline, and coordinate the rehearsal dinner and wedding day. You can enjoy the celebration while our two planners manage the agreed arrangements.
When does Partial Planning begin?
Partial Planning provides up to six weeks of support before your wedding. We review what you have booked, help work through outstanding decisions and remaining vendor needs, and bring the logistics and final arrangements together. Two planners coordinate the wedding day.
What is included in Full Planning?
We help develop your priorities, budget and planning schedule, research venues and vendors, guide design and guest-experience decisions, and coordinate the practical details. Your written proposal sets out the services and coverage, including two planners on the wedding day.
Are the displayed prices fixed?
The wedding packages show starting prices in Canadian dollars. Your venue, event complexity, coverage hours, travel and any staffing beyond the included two planners can affect the final quote. Applicable taxes and venue and vendor charges are additional. We confirm the scope and fee in writing before you book.
Do you work outside London?
Yes. Mark’s experience includes London, Toronto, Hamilton and Sarnia. Tell us where you are celebrating so we can discuss availability and the right support. Travel and lodging fees will be discussed and set out in your proposal before you book.
Does a consultation reserve our date?
An enquiry or consultation does not reserve your date. A signed agreement and the required 25% deposit secure the booking, subject to availability. The payment milestones depend on your selected planning package and are confirmed in the agreement.
What is the payment schedule?
Depending on the planning package selected, 25% of the agreed planning fee is required to book and reserve your date. At the 50% planning milestone, a further 25% is due, bringing payments to 50% of the total. The remaining balance is due fourteen days before the wedding, so 100% is paid by then. We define the planning midpoint and payment dates in your agreement.
Can you manage the disbursement of vendor fees?
Yes. We can manage the disbursement of vendor fees as an agreed part of your planning arrangements. We confirm the payment schedule, your approvals and how funds will be provided before making payments. Vendor fees are separate from our planning fee.
Can you help if we already have vendors?
Absolutely. Share who you have booked, what is confirmed and where you still need help. We work with your existing arrangements and recommend Day-of Coordination or Partial Planning according to the support you need.
Do you help with the rehearsal dinner?
Yes. Day-of Coordination and Partial Planning include rehearsal and rehearsal dinner coordination. For Full Planning, we discuss the rehearsal arrangements as part of your overall plan. Venue, catering and other supplier costs remain separate from our planning fee.
How does hourly consultation work?
Hourly Consultation is $125 per hour, plus applicable taxes. Bring questions about your budget, venues, vendors, timeline or logistics. We agree the focus and time with you beforehand. Consultation is advice and does not include ongoing supplier management or wedding-day attendance.
What should we share in our first enquiry?
Tell us your names, contact details, wedding date if known, estimated guest count, preferred venue, ideal budget and any vendors already booked. Meal preferences, traditions, accessibility needs and your main priorities also help. It is fine if some decisions are still open.
Who communicates with vendors on the wedding day?
Our two planners coordinate the agreed timeline and supplier handoffs and serve as a point of contact for the teams involved. We confirm responsibilities with your venue and vendors in advance so everyone knows who is managing each part of the day.
How do you plan for weather and unexpected changes?
We discuss practical backup arrangements with your venue and suppliers, including outdoor ceremony alternatives, travel time and key schedule changes. The plan sets out responsibilities and communication so decisions can be handled calmly on the day.
Do you work with all couples?
Yes. We are 2SLGBTQI+ owned, and we plan same and opposite gender weddings. We welcome couples of all backgrounds and ask about the traditions, accessibility needs and personal priorities that matter to you.
What is your inclusivity policy?
We welcome couples from all backgrounds, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, disability or any other characteristic. We are committed to providing every couple with an outstanding wedding planning experience built on respect, attentive service and care for their individual needs.
